GALA DINNER - BOAT CRUISE ON THE VLTAVA RIVER

Our boat, Czechie, will depart from Dvořákovo nábřeží, pier no. 14 at 7:50 pm sharp. Please don’t miss the departure.

The cruise will last 2 hours and there is no stop on the way (so you will be able to get off the boat only around 10pm).

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: 

• The boat has two sheltered decks and one deck is open. So in case of rain you will be sheltered inside.

• It can be quite cold on the boat, please count with that and take something warm to wear with you.

• Dress Code: Smart Casual, we recommend a lower heel footwear as high heels might be tricky on the boat.

• If you decide to go to the Gala dinner right after the conference program, you can leave all, except for valuables at the yellow lockers for luggage in the lobby of the National Library of Technology and pick it up the next morning.

There is a well functioning public transportation system in Prague. The closest tram station to pier no. 14 at the Vltava river bank is "Dlouhá třída". You can find your connection here.

After you get off at the Dlouhá třída tram stop, it is about a 10 minute walk to the river, pier no. 14 (please see the attached picture).

For those who would like to be accompanied from the National Library of Technology:

We will be leaving at 7pm sharp from the the National Library of Technology together (from the info point) and we will take a direct tram to the city center. It will be helpful if you buy 2 tickets for the public transportation (each for 30 CZK) in advance but it is also possible to buy a ticket on the tram by credit card.
