CALL FOR PROPOSALS
PIDfest has been inviting proposals for concurrent sessions (30 or 60 minutes) that would encompass and reflect a range of perspectives (organisational, functional, geographic, demographic, etc). Sessions will be a mix of presentations and panel discussions covering the following PID-related topics:
PIDs 101/PID basics
Case studies/lessons learned, both technical
and social ( successes and failures)
ID strategies and policies (general)
National PID strategies
Novel uses of PIDs and emerging PIDs
Persistence and sustainability of PIDs
Technical applications of PIDs
PID value propositionsÂ
PIDs at scale (in research workflows and infrastructure globally)
PID-enabled connections
Beyond PIDs—metadata and schema
And more...
All proposals are now reviewed by the PIDfest Program Committee.
Their authors will be informed of the Committee's decision by March 15.
