PROGRAM

A significant portion of day three of PIDfest will be devoted to participant-driven discussions or "unconferences". PIDfest is a perfect opportunity for project collaboration, developing communities of interest, gathering community feedback, and exploring new ideas, but not every conversation fits a conference session format. We want to create a space for creative events inspired by new developments in the field of PIDs, shared interests, or the presentations and discussions at PIDfest itself. PIDfest attendees will have the chance to propose and promote meetings, focus groups, workshops, birds-of-a-feather sessions, project meetings, or community discussions on any PID-related topic. Look out for the sign-up information when you arrive at the conference, and chat to the members of the organising group, who will be happy to help you set your session up and can answer any questions you might have on the day.
